My name is Rahel Menig and I was born in May 1990. I recently moved from Switzerland to Gilroy, California because I fell in love with an outstanding American boy in 2005 and we decided to stick together forever. We married in May 2010, just a few days before my 20th birthday. I have to say, that I really love to be married. I love to cook and to bake and to do all those house wife things that there are. And I love it very much to welcome Adrian every night when he comes home from work! I am telling you, so much better than skyping together every night and falling asleep missing him like crazy……..
I have been scrapbooking for a long time now. I started in 2004 or 2005, I can’t remember the exact year… Even if I scrapbook for over five years now I’m still crazy about it! I love to play around with pretty paper, glittery alpha stickers and cute stamps.
Just a few days ago I have been thinking what type of scrapbooking style I might have. I think I have a very bold, young and fresh style. I love to work with many different things, also very untraditional materials that I find in second hand shops or flea markets. I also like to work with paint, to give the picture a special “glow”.
I have been able to design for a couple of great places like Kitschi Digitals and Scrapping the Music Germany. But the DT place that I am most proud of is Scrap Art Zine. It is THE German Scrapbooking Magazine and I am able to share my creativity with our readers since 2008.
