More News ;)

Finally I have something to write about today ;)   I haven’t done a lot of scrapbooking lately, but I did something else ;) LOL

First of all, on Monday we will send the Bambi Clear Stamp set into production! The Bambi Volume II set (with the tabs) is following a month later. I am absolutely excited about it!! :D

Both, the Bambi and Bambi Volume II have made such an impact, that I decided that I would design more stamps! And now it is my pleasure to introduce the designs to you :)

The first set is simply called “SUMMER”. I wanted to create something that shows the good side of life in a happy and young style. You will get three boarder stams and lots of cute words and sentences, some even in my handwriting. Also the butterfly is a highlight on this set, because you will be able to create so many beautiful embellishments with this stamp.

The second summerish set is called “SUMMER TREE”. The speciality of this set is like the name already sais, the tree that you can stamp very individuel with. Look on the example, what you can do with the shadow of the treetop. You also get two butterflies, that are a little smaller than the one of the SUMMER set, so you can create a pretty trio of the cute little bugs.

The next is the “ADVENT” stamp set. Here you get two circles and many numbers and a few words that fit perfectly into the circles. Also you can punch them with a 1.5″ circle punch or a 2″ scallop punch and you have the labels for your advent calendar :)

The last set is called “WEIHNACHTSZEIT” (Christmas Time) and this one is in German so I guess it is not interesting for the most of you. There you will get many words, some even in my own handwriting :)   I was thinking to create the same set in English later on, so you guys can use that one too :)

Now, what do you think?? Please comment the designs and tell me your thoughts :) Thanks a lot!!

Today I am going to show you my newest project :)

A few days ago (actually yesterday…) I saw my mom’s agenda and since I was a little bored at the moment I asked her if I should create a nice cover for it. Well… She said yes and today I did it :)   Her eyes were sparkeling when I gave it to her and that is the best thing I can get, when I scrapbook for somebody :D

SWISSGIRLDESIGNS CLEAR STAMPS UPDATE!! I wanted to let you know, that Nadine Feil and I got many orders in advance for my new high quality clear stamps. If you would like to get them too, please make a reservation here on my blog or write me an e-mail on rahel@swissgirldesigns.com, because we have a very limited number of them. I will ship worldwide :)

Now I hope you enjoy my video :)   Have a great Scrapbooking-Day :D

new Projects with my Designs ;)

February 12, 2010 - 9:42 am 2 Comments

I was so inspired by my stamp designs, that I had to scrapbook a little more ;) hihi

So I made this layout and a frame. The layout is for the custom order of a wedding. It will be a 10 page album about the bachelor party and the wedding itself. I looooove to do that kind of work :)

Oh yeah, before I forget, if you would like to get a stamp set you should let me know as soon as possible ;) They are going away like crazy!!! I have already so many reservations that we have to think about producing more stamps ;) LOL

And then we have the frame… It is originally from IKEA. It comes as a blank white or black frame and is very shiny. I just had that item left and thought about making a big a statement with it so I took some paper tissues and glued them with a mix of white glue and water onto the surface. It is such a quick and easy way. If you would like to get a colored frame, just paint it with acrylic paint!! So much fun!!

GREAT NEWS!!

February 11, 2010 - 6:47 am 5 Comments

Would you like to know a secret?? Weeeeeell…… ;)   Okay, can you remember my last Video I did, about those German clear stamps?? Sooo… Our cooperation worked out so well, that we decided to work together more often. Nadine asked me, to do another video and after we exchanged a couple e-mails we had a plan that was much much much bigger than just about me doing another video for her ;)

It has to do with clear stamps and with designing… Do you already know??

If your answer was something like “swissgirDesigns clear stamps” you were right!! WE ARE GOING TO PRODUCE MY OWN DESIGNS AS CLEAR STAMPS!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D   (can you tell that I am totally excited about it….??) Isn’t that absolutly great??? :D

The first stamp set is coming out in April. We are going to sell the stamps on two different places. You can purchase them HERE on my blog OR you go on Nadine’s Online Shop that is located in Germany. If you already love the stamps I suggest you to make a reservation, because we won’t have a ton of them ;)

Volume II is coming out later, but we don’t have a date yet.

I designed them to match together. My goal was also, that you can use my stamps over and over and over again. I hate stamps that look fantastic, but in the end you find out, that you can’t really use them on your projects because they are too large or too whatever. And I hate to spend money on supplies that I don’t use in the end….

So, since I am not very patient, I had to print my Designs out on clear foil and did a Mini Album ;) I can’t show you the whole thing, because it is for my article in the Scrap Art Zine for Summer. I will show you later tough ;) But here are a few peaks ;)

Last Week and Co.

February 6, 2010 - 5:04 am 1 Comment

Do you wanna know what I did last week? Let me show you!

So I did all the invitation work (and still have to do a few), sent them out and feel so much more relaxed ;) No, really, that was a huuuuge stress factor for me. All the pressure of doing about a hundred invitations… But now this part is done and I can enjoy much more interesting and fun tasks like…..

…finding the right hair style :) I think I would like to have a real messy hair on the big day. Something like an updo or half updo. Yesterday night I started on my veil! Yes, I am going to do my own veil :D It will be a two layered tulle veil and probably with a reeeaally nice lace kinda thing on the longer layer. But I am not sure yet.. ;)

Anyways, I was also able to do some scrapbooking!! That felt sooo relaxing and good! Right now I am working on a custom order from a German lady. It is a wedding album of her sister. Isn’t that a great gift?? I think so!

Talk to you later :)   XOXO
