Question: What is in exactly six months????

RIGHT!! MY WEDDING!!!

So I promised, that I will show my Wedding Journal that I just started to make and yeah, here we go! Since I still don’t have any book rings, the pages are still loose. I planned to use four rings for this album.

Okay, this is the cover. I used a filefolder as a template on a Sassafras Lass Patterned Paper. The birdcage is from House of 3 and I used some 3D glue to give it some texture.

The idea of this album is, to use a filefolder per month and fill this with my plans, ideas and everything else about the wedding. So this is the first folder of the countdown. Once again I used some 3D glue on the little camera stamps.

And this is the back of the filefolder. As you can see, I cut about 2 inches of the folder, so I can use it better as an album. It also gets nicer to work with (the form). On this page I used an envelope and put a picture of the room into it. (And yes, here is my new ribbon!!! Love it!!)

Yeah, that’s about it. I made two other pages already, but I can’t show you anyways because there is the wedding dress on it… Sorry I will show you after the wedding!!   I will show you more pages, when if I create some in the next few days. And yeah, until May you will see a new filefolder on every 29th of the month

Today I will show you quickly, what I got yesterday in Michael’s. I found my favorite Christmas ribbon again!! The stripped one Also love the reindeers a lot!! And they also had those cute Studio G stamps, that I had to buy. Love the A and R’s!!

Yeah, and if you have seen the countown on my sidebar, you have noticed, that it is just a little more than 6 months to go until our wedding!!! So today I started a “Wedding Countdown Journal”. I will show you on November 29, when there are exactly 6 months left! I can’t wait for that big day!!

I got a comment yesterday for my last post.

Phoenix: Your wedding decorations & plans sound beautiful! What colors are you going to use?

So I thought, I could answer that question with a little PhotoShop Graphic… By the way, thank you Phoenix for your comment

So, as you can see, the colors for our wedding will be PINK, WHITE AND BROWN/GREEN. The room we are in, is in a rustic brown. It was a horse stable a long time ago, that they renovated. The green color is…. Well, because it is in a botanical public garden and there are of course lots of plants

Adrian already asked me in shock, if that is my wedding dress I am gonna order: NO, for sure not! I can’t really tell you details about it, you know the reason but I can tell you some things: It is very romantic, feminine and innocent. It has lots of delicate enrichments and it has a beautiful sweeheart neckline Oh yeah, and it is strapless.

The Monogram that you can see on the picture, we have used it already for our engagement cards and I want to have it on the invitations and also as a wedding theme – somehow.

Hey girls! First of all, thank you very much for your comments!! You really made my week!!

Today I am gonna show you a new layout that I did last week. As you can see, I used some acrylic paint. When I had that paint on the layout, I almost started to cry, because it just didn’t look like I wanted it to look… But somehow it worked out Actually I filmed this layout, but somehow the fokus wasn’t on the right point… But I guess, I will be able to film another layout soon

So always remember: If you are creating a layout and it doesn’t look like you planned, don’t give up on that layout!!

Maybe you are interested in my wedding plans?? Since the time between now and the wedding is getting less with every past second, I am planning and getting ideas in my free time.

I actually found the perfect dress in the internet and I have been in a bridal store to try this kind of gown on, just to know that it looks good on me. I can’t show you a picture of it, because Adrian reads this blog too   So, my friend told me, ivory looks better on me – but I prefer white. I don’t like the yellowish/oldish color of this ivory. And then I found out, that it is not just about the dress, there are accessories that are important too! Like the perfect bridal veil, jewelry and shoes. I just tell you: I never thought, that planning a wedding could be so much stress haha

The funny thing is, that I have no problems with deciding what decoration we should have on the tables. Since we have a veeeery low budget, the decoration is a lot of fun for me. I like to find out ways where you can safe as much as possible!

So the decoration on the tables will consist of loooots of little candles in different kinds of glasses (some even filled with water). And some flowers that my mom has to grow in her garden But I don’t want to have too many flowers. I also want to create some paper pom-poms (picture below by Martha Stewart) that are hanging from the ceiling. Of course, there are many more ideas, but I am not gonna tell you everything

I am so happy today, not because Adrian did something extraordinary or so, no, today it is just because of YOU guys!!! I was writing PM’s with an old classmate the last few days. We actually never did things together, but now she started to write me and it is just so very nice to exchange thoughts with her. And after that I just checked some new comments on my german blogs (you English speaking girls are a little lazy with posting comments ) and some new comments on YouTube and I just got so happy about all the nice words, people I don’t even know wrote to me.

So I started thinking a little and decided, that I want to learn something from those comments and the happyness I got because of them. So here is the deal, I will challenge myself and start to write more constructive comments in the www-scrapbooking-world!

And here are some comments (just a few of many many), that I wanted to show you, so you perhaps want to post more comments to on your favorite blogs, to support those writers??

Finally I can show you the product! Since I couldn’t find bookrings, I wasn’t able to put all the pages together. I would like to use black rings with some white ribbon as a fun embellishment. We will see.

1. Hey! I wanted to show you my Christmas Daily pictures, but they still arent edited. So I have to ask for a little patience…

2. But I have some more Canada Eascost pictures I would like to show you. The colors aren’t edited, just the brightness and the contrast.

(Ooookay, you got me! The birds are faked here. When I saw a nice bird flying away, I took some pictures of it and in PhotoShop I made brushes out of those pictures. Works pretty well!!)

Today I want to make a quick update.

My Christmas Daily is growing rapidly! I have now the Frontpage, Day 1 to 14 and Day 17.

I went to Michael’s last Saturday. I need bookrings and eylets for my Daily. But no, they didn’t have what I needed. But what girl can walk out of her favorite shop without buying at least one item…? So i found very nice glitter alpha stickers in black and hot pink! Each for 1.50! So I bought both colors in two packages. There was also such a cute stamp with a  “Happy Holidays” writing that looked at me so tempting… And also two new ribbons, white fluffy and a red one with white dots.

Since you know, that I can’t wait for my wedding I am always counting the days down. Today there are just 6 months and 19 days left!

And then I wanted to show you some layouts that I recently did….

Hey girls! Sorry for my “no-posting-week”… But now I can show you some things!

On Ali Edwards blog, I saw her December Daily 2009 and so I decided, to give myself a challenge, to do something like this. So I went to Dollarama, my favorite store in Winnipeg downtown and bought some cute (and cheap) Christmas supplies. It was quite funny, I mean, who is buying Christmas items NOW!?? Probably just scrapbookers…

Okay. So I decided not to make a small mini album and instead I am creating a 29x18cm album out of filefolders! It looks soooo cool! So yesterday and today I did the frontpage and day one to day six. I will show you the pictures somewhen this week, so stay tuned.
